Faith Sound concert season canceled

    REGIONAL – Faith Sound, the interdenominational, contemporary music group based out of Harlan, has canceled its concert season out of an abundance of caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic.    The group hopes to be back next year, said Steve Lawson, long-time director and founder of Faith Sound.

Reynolds lifts spectator limits

    STATE – Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds last week signed a new public health disaster proclamation that modifies existing public health measures designed to reduce the spread of COVID-19.    The proclamation continues to require that when people are in an indoor public space, and unable to social distance for 15 minutes or longer, masks are required to be worn.

Robin Henningsen, 57

    HARLAN -- Neoma Ann Vanderheiden, 90, Harlan, died December 31 at Myrtue Medical Center.    Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 16 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Visitation is Saturday from 9-11 a.m.
