HMU strategy session held to discuss future

IKM-Manning celebrating homecoming this week

MANNING --  A week of spirit dates and preparation began on Monday, Sept. 18 for IKM-Manning and culminates with the pep rally, parade and big game vs. Missouri Valley on Friday, Sept. 22.    All IKM-Manning community members and alumni are invited to attend with the students to see the coronation of the homecoming king and queen.  The parade, beginning at roughly 2:30 p.m.

Earling couple marks 50 years of marriage

EARLING -- Bob and JoAnn Koesters of Earling observed their 50th wedding anniversary on September 9. They celebrated with a family dinner in Minneapolis, MN.    Their children and spouses are Brian and Stacy Koesters, Lindstrom, MN; Jill and Dennis Hulsing, Prairie Village, KS; Steven and Melisa Koesters, Overland Park, KS; and Adam and Jennifer Koesters, Earling. Bob and JoAnn have nine grandchildren.  

Alfred Leinen, 88

    EARLING -- Alfred Paul Leinen, 88, Earling, died September 12 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.    Services will be held Monday, Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling with burial in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery at Earling.  A rosary will be held Sunday, Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at the church.  Visitation is Sunday from 4-8 p.m.

Jane Jacobsen, 74

    HANCOCK -- Jane Marcia Jacobsen, 74, Hancock died September 13 at her home.    Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. at Hancock United Methodist Church in Hancock with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Hancock.  Visitation is Saturday from 9-11 a.m.

Alice Ingram, 92

    SAN RAMON, CA -- Alice J. Ingram, 92, San Ramon, CA, formerly of Irwin, died September 8 at her home.    Services were held Wednesday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park in Haywood, CA.    Ingram is survived by stepdaughter Kathy Regopoulos of Washington, UT; grandchilden Dirk Ingram, Andrea Ingram, Scott Hocker and Neal (Isabel) Hocker; nieces and nephews and their families.
