Recycling provider to no longer service some rural buildings

    ELK HORN -- Allan and Susan Hjelle of Elk Horn will mark their 50th wedding anniversary on January 30. John Brouhard, 78

    PHOENIX, AZ -- John Forrest Brouhard, 78, Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Harlan, died January 9 at Banner Medical Center in Phoenix.    Brouhard will be interred at the Brouhard family plot at the Vail, IA Cemetery at a future date.    Brouhard is survived by his son Benjamin Forrest (Catherine) of Fechy, Switzerland; his grandsons Lucas and Elijah; his daughter, Rebecca Julia Brouhard of Gilbert, AZ; his sister Celinda Pearson of Altadena, CA;

Mickalia Williams, 82

    HARLAN -- Mickalia “Mickey” Ann Williams, 82, Harlan, died January 16 at Methodist Hospital.    Celebration of life will be held Friday, Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Visitation is Friday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
