Gessert signs LOI to run cross country & track at Simpson College

Senior Jenna Gessert has just signed a Letter of Intent to run cross country and track at Simpson College following the conclusion of her high school days.
“I’m just excited to continue my cross country and track career up at Simpson [College],” Gessert said.
Gessert expressed the excitement behind what drew her to choosing Simpson College.

Cyclones bounce back with big win over rival Atlantic

Seniors Brad Curren and Teagon Kasperbauer led the way for the Cyclones Friday night at home in their 72-64 victory over the Atlantic Trojans.
“Tonight it was great to score points and put the ball in the hoop,” said Cyclones Head Coach Mitch Osborn.
The game got underway with Kasperbauer dropping the first bucket of the night, helping the Cyclones take an early lead.

Junior Hannah Sonderman and Sophomore Aubrey Schwieso were the stars of the night Friday at home in their 57-46 victory over the Atlantic Trojans for their third consecutive victory.

Late 17-0 run fuels Wolves win over Panthers

Junior Ross Kusel led the way for the IKM-Manning Wolves Friday with 17 points Thursday night en route to a 51-34 victory over the Logan-Magnolia Panthers, including finishing the game on a 17-0 run.
“It feels really good,” Kusel said. “We had a tough time in the beginning. We were all a little slow, but we picked ourselves up, played together and it was a good win.”

Wolves drop close battle at home to Panthers

Senior Panther Macanna Guritz scored 12 points for Logan-Magnolia on the path to a 44-40 victory over the IKM-Manning Wolves Thursday night. For the Wolves, it was their second consecutive loss and seventh overall, moving their record to 4-7 on the season.
The first quarter got off to a strong start for both teams with the Wolves trailing by just four points. Junior Abby Neilheisel was leading the Wolves in scoring with six points.
