    SHELBY -- Robert Dillon, 81, Shelby, died January 6 at his home.    Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 22 at 11 a.m. at Harvest of Hope in Harlan.  Visitation is Saturday from 9:30-11 a.m.

Lowell Howe, 92

    MARENGO -- Lowell Ivan Howe, 92, Marengo, formerly of Harlan, died Friday, Jan. 14 in Marengo.    Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan with burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Kirkman.  Friends may call Wednesday, Jan. 19 from 3-6 p.m.

Bonnie Larsen, 103

    HARLAN -- Bonnie Armentrout Larsen, 103, Harlan, died January 11 at Elm Crest Assisted Living.    Graveside prayers will be held Thursday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan before  burial in the Harlan Cemetery.    Larsen is survived by son Randall (Mary) Armentrout of Harlan; and grandchildren Julie Armentrout of Harlan and Jill (Jerry) Brown of Parker, CO.

Beverly Knudtson, 72

    WALNUT -- Beverly Knudtson, 72, Walnut, died January 11 at Nebraska Medical Center.    Services will be held Friday, Jan. 21 at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca with burial in the Layton Township Cemetery at Walnut.  Public visitation will be Friday from 9-10 a.m.

    COUNTY -- The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce & Industry is accepting nominations for its Citizen/Volunteer of the Year.    Nomination forms can be found inside the Harlan News-Advertiser or Harlan Tribune.  Forms should be dropped off at the chamber office in Harlan or emailed to info@exploreshelbycounty.com.  Deadline is January 28 at 5 p.m.
