Contiguous county titling begins

    WALNUT -- Mary Jean Krummel, 94, Walnut, died December 30 at Cass County Memorial Hospital.    Services will be held Friday, Jan. 7 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery at Avoca.  Visitation is Friday from 10-11 a.m.

    SHELBY -- Linda Lou Muehl, 70, Shelby, died December 21 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center.    Services were held Thursday, Jan. 6 at 11 a.m. at United Lutheran Church in Shelby.    Muehl is survived by daughter Christina (Steven) Niziol of Logan; sisters Lory Powers of Norman, OK and Jo Williams of Casper, WY; and brother Benjamin (Ann) Schwader of Westminster, CO.    Pauley Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Supervisors add $2,500 to beaver trapping efforts
