TOWNSEND, MT – Barry Lynn Hollander, son of Kenneth Hollander and Bev Weinbrandt, was born on January 29, 1965 in Council Bluffs.  He was raised in Harlan where he attended school graduating from Harlan Community High School with the class of 1983.After high school, Barry attended Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs where he studied accounting.

SEBASTIAN, FL – Randall “Randy” Lee Rademacker was born in Fort Dodge on January 16th, 1957 to John “Jack” Rademacker and Lois Podey.Randy was the ninth of 10 children. He graduated from Missouri Valley in 1975. He studied at the University of Nebraska — Lincoln.

    ELK HORN - Toby Henningsen,  87, died Thurs., June 28 at the Salem Lutheran Nursing Home here.    Funeral services will be held on Sat., July 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Elk Horn Lutheran Church with visitation with family and friends beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Gaul, 52, Omaha, NE, died Sunday, June 24 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.    Survivors include her sisters Laurie Dunlap of Narraganset, RI, and Kristine (Thomas Kurtz, Sr.) Gaul of Portsmouth.    Services are pending at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.

    DENISON -- LaVere Mae Andersen, 82, Denison, died June 24 at Eventide Lutheran Home for the Aged.    Services will be held Tuesday, June 3 at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery at Avoca.  Visitation will be held Monday, July 2 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-8 p.m.

    PORTSMOUTH -- Mary Ella “Mitz” Wilke, 81, Portsmouth, died June 20 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.    Services were held Monday, June 25 at 11 a.m. at St.

HOUSTON, TX – Margaret (Nielsen) Metcalf, 85, died March 22 in Houston.Family and friends are welcome to attend the memorial service at the gravesite on Saturday, June 23 at 2 p.m.

HARLAN -- Daniel Coy Emerson Riley, 25, Harlan, died June 18 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan. Riley is survived by mother Barbara (Kivland)Riley of Harlan and father Brian Riley of Harlan; and sisters Shannon Riley of St. Petersburg, FL and Abigail Riley of Nashville, TN.

HARLAN -- June E. Schaben, 62, Harlan, died Monday, June 18 in Omaha. A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, June 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance with burial of ashes in the St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Defiance. Family will greet friends Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

    AVOCA -- Douglas Keith Hester, 60, Avoca, died May 31 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.    Services will be held Friday, June 22 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Walnut.  Visitation is Friday from 9:30-11 a.m. at the church.    Hester is survived by brothers Richard Hester of Walnut and James (Roxanne) Hester of Avoca.    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca is in charge of arrangements.

    HARLAN -- Leona Josephine Kaufmann, 100, Harlan, died June 18 at Elm Crest Retirement Community.    Services will be held Friday, June 22 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Westphalia.  A rosary was held Thursday, June 21 at 7 p.m. at the church.  Visitation was Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the church.  Burial will be in the St.

    TENNANT -- Steven Michael Buck, 64, Tennant, died June 16 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital.    Services were held Thursday, June 21 at 11 a.m. at St.
