HARLAN -- Ludwig Charles “Lud” Buman, 91, Harlan, died October 2 at his home.    Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 6 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  A wake service will be held Friday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.  Family will greet friends Friday from 5-8 p.m.

    PANAMA -- Raymond A. Schleimer, 78, Panama, died September 25 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center.    Services will be held Friday, Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Panama with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date.  A wake service was held Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Center.  Family greeted friends Thursday from 5-8 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Janet Fink, 67, Harlan, died September 22 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital.    Graveside services will be held Saturday, Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. at the Harlan Cemetery.    Fink is survived by brother Wayne Fink of Harlan and sister Judy (Gary) Caldwell of Sioux Falls, SD.    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.

    MANNING -- William J. “Billy” Meister III, 68, Manning, died Wednesday, Sept. 12 at the VA Central Iowa Health Care System in Des Moines.    Services will be held Monday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Manning with interment with military honors provided by American Legion Post #607 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Manning.    Visitation with luncheon will be held at the church Oct.

    ATLANTIC -- Aaron Widrowicz, 66, Atlantic, died September 14 at Atlantic Specialty Care.    Private graveside services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca.  Family greeted friends Monday, Sept. 17 from 4-7 p.m.

    DAVENPORT -- Richard J. “Rick” Finken, 62, Davenport, died Tuesday, Sept. 11 at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.    Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Davenport.  Family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m.

    EARLING -- Robert “Bob” Finken, 89, Earling, died September 10 at Little Flower Haven Nursing Home.    Services will be held Friday, Sept. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling with burial in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery at Earling.  A prayer service and Knights of Columbus rosary was held Thursday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. at the church.  Family greeted friends Thursday from 4-7 p.m.

Kleffman, 92, Harlan, died September 7 at Elm Crest Retirement Community.    Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Portsmouth.  A wake service was held Monday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. at the church.  Visitation was Monday from 4-8 p.m.
