Persia - Bernard J. “Bernie” Kremer, age 82, of Council Bluffs, passed away February 1, 2025, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Bernie was born January 16, 1943, in Persia, IA to the late Clarence and Helen M. (Honeywell) Kremer. He graduated from Tri-Center High School, Neola, IA in 1961. Bernie was a police officer for the City of Council Bluffs and a bartender for 25 years at the Goldmine Bar & Grill.

Templeton - Leo Willenborg, son of Henry and Ida (Uhlenkamp) Willenborg, was born at home on a farm near Templeton, Iowa on August 6, 1924. At 100 years old, he had been through many changes in his lifetime. He walked to a country school about 2 miles from the house, except for 2nd grade, and 8th grade. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic school in Templeton so he could make his First Holy Communion and be confirmed.

Council Bluffs - Kathleen Alice Williamson was born to John and Ruth (Peterson) Turner on January 3, 1956, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She started school at Shelby-Tennant Elementary and stayed there through high school.
