Huber, 59, Harlan, died Monday, September 5at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.    Celebration of Life services will be held on Friday, September 9 at 2 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home in Creston. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in rural Afton, IA.    Visitation with family receiving friends will be held from 1 p.m.

    LUBBOCK, TX -- Sylvester P. “Wes” Hodapp, 95, Lubbock, TX, died Monday, Aug. 22.    Cremation is in the care of Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers in Lubbock, with inurnment in Council Bluffs.    Hodapp is originally from Harlan.  He is survived by brothers Laverne, Ralph, Ronald and Dennis Hodapp; and two sisters, Benita Woody and Mary Crushshon.
