Weddings - Lindsey and Brett Greer

    OMAHA -- Lindsey Legler and Brett Greer both of Honey Creek were married on October 8, 2016 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Omaha. The 3:30 p.m. double ring ceremony was performed by Pastor Steve Helwig.    Parents of the couple are Larry and Rexann Legler, Omaha; and Randy and Geralyn Greer, Harlan.

County set to review 2017-18 budget options

    COUNTY – The Shelby County Supervisors are expected to review a number of budget options at its next meeting Tuesday, Feb. 21, in preparation for finalizing the 2017-18 budget at the first meeting in March.    Shelby County Auditor Mark Maxwell said he’s working on the budget possibilities and will hopefully have options available for review at the Feb.

 AREA -- The IKM-Manning and AHSTW girls basketball teams will open regional play Saturday night with first round home games in Class 2-A, Region 3. IKM-M, listed 15th in last week’s 2-A state rankings, will host Tri-Center (9-12) at 7:00 p.m. in Manning.
