Anniversaries - Bill and Joyce Wrich

    KENNARD, NE -- Bill and Joyce Wrich of Kennard, NE will mark their 60th wedding anniversary and Bill’s 80th birthday on Saturday, June 18 beginning at 2 p.m. at an outdoor open house at the Wrich farm (4187 County Road P25) south of Kennard.    Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Their children and grandchildren are hosting the celebration. Bill raced for many years at the Shelby County Speedway in Harlan.

Anniversaries - Charlie and Judy Obrecht

    HARLAN -- Charlie and Judy Obrecht of Harlan will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 12 at an open house from 1:30-4 p.m. at the Therkildsen Activity Center in Harlan.         Friends and relatives are invited to attend. Their children are Don and Jennifer Obrecht, Harlan; Chuck and Renietta Obrecht, Harlan and Gregory  Obrecht (deceased). The Obrechts have seven grandchildren.

Neil Petsche, 67

    PORTSMOUTH -- Neil Joseph Petsche, 67, Portsmouth, died June 4 at Iowa Methodist Hospital.    Services will be held Thursday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Our Lady of Fatima Church in Portsmouth with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at Portsmouth.  A prayer service will be held Wednesday, June 8 at 7 p.m. at the church.  Visitation is Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
