    LOGAN -- Damian Gross, 67, Logan, died Friday, March 1 at his home in Logan.    Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Earling.  Visitation is Thursday, March 7 from 4-8 p.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Logan.  A scripture service will be held Thursday at 6 p.m.

    AVOCA -- Eleanor Caroline Brown, 96, Avoca, died March 1 at her home.    Services will be held Tuesday, March 5 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery in Avoca.    A rosary was held Monday, March 4 at 7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca.  Family greeted friends from 5-7 p.m.

    GLENWOOD -- Clara Theresa Bledsoe, 89, Glenwood, died February 26 at Glen Haven Home in Glenwood.    Services will be held Friday, May 3 at 2 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery at Avoca.    Bledsoe is survived by son George (Teresa) Bledsoe of Glenwood; daughter Phyllis (Steve) Combs of Battle Creek, MI; sister Arlene Sievers of Avoca; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

    HARLAN -- Frances Lavonne Pauley, 89, Harlan, died February 25 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.    Services were held Thursday, Feb. 28 at 10:30 a.m.

    HANCOCK -- Glenda Ann Langer, 86, Hancock, died February 23 at her home.    Services will be held Friday, March 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Avoca with burial in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Hancock.  Family greeted friends Thursday, Feb. 28 from 5-7 p.m.

    OMAHA, NE -- Kathryn Fink, 72, Omaha, NE, formerly of Harlan, died February 21 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha.    Visitation will be held Saturday, March 2 from 10-11:30 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Harlan with a luncheon to follow.    Fink is survived by her sons David (Eddie) of Omaha, Dale (Sarah) of Harlan, Brad (Barbie) of Harlan and Troy (Sara) of Underwood; brothers David Stanley of Mt.

    HARLAN -- Shirley Welker, 68, Harlan, died February 16 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.    Services will be held Monday, Feb. 25 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Family will greet friends Sunday, Feb. 24 from 4-8 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Shirley Welker, Harlan, died Saturday, Feb. 16 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.    She is survived by her brother, Robert Schwarte, and sister, Tami (Bill) Stiinn.    Services are pending at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan.

Brockmann, 78, Shelby, died Saturday, Feb. 16 in Harlan.    Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. at United Lutheran Church in Shelby with burial in the Shelby Cemetery.  A prayer service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Shelby.  Friends may call Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m.
