DUNLAP -- Mildred (Foecke) Cogdill, 92, Dunlap, died Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Burgess Hospital in Onawa.    Services will be held Friday, Feb. 21 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dunlap.  Visitation was Thursday, Feb. 20 from 4-7 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Parish Center in Dunlap.  A rosary was held Thursday at 4 p.m. and and a scripture service at 7 p.m.

    ELK HORN -- Opal Darlene Marcussen, 94, Elk Horn, formerly of Harlan, died Tuesday, Feb. 18 in Harlan.    Services will be held Friday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan with burial of ashes in the Harlan Cemetery.  There is no visitation.    Marcussen is survived by children Ann (King) Cole of Savage, MN, Terry Marcussen of Adair and Karen Marcussen of Cleveland, TN; other relatives and friends.
 

    OMAHA, NE -- Phyllis Ann Simonsen, 84, Omaha, NE, died February 16 at Compassionate Memory Care.    Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca with burial in the Layton Township Cemetery at Walnut.  Family will greet friends Saturday from 1-2 p.m.

    HARLAN -- Lowell J. Harper, 88, Harlan, died February 17 at Elm Crest Retirement Community.    Services will be held Monday, March 2 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Harlan with inurnment at a later date in the Ames Cemetery in Ames.  Family will greet friends March 2 from 10-11 a.m.

    SHELBY -- Glen Oliver Hipnar, 87, Shelby, died February 13.    Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. at United Lutheran Church in Shelby.  Visitation is Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m. at the church.    Inurnment will be at a later date in the Shelby Cemetery.
 

    SHELBY -- William Galen Barrett, 77, Shelby, died February 13 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center.    Services were held Monday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. at United Lutheran Church in Shelby with burial in the Shelby Cemetery.  Visitation was Monday from 9:30-11 a.m.

    EARLING -- Michael F. Wilson, 64, Earling, died February 16 at Myrtue Medical Center.    Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Family Church in Harlan.  Family will greet friends Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.    Wilson is survived by his mother, Imogene (Young) Jacksis of Denison; wife Jolene Wilson of Earling; sons Michael (Isabel) Wilson, Jr.

    COUNCIL BLUFFS -- Margaret Christine Maassen, 90, Council Bluffs, died February 8 at Josie Harper Hospice House.    Private family memorial services are planned for Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 10:30 a.m.
