Engagements - Seth Lansman and Katrina Knudsen

    HARLAN -- Dan and Lorie Knudsen of Harlan announce the engagement of their daughter, Katrina to Seth Lansman, son of Howard and Tara Lansman, Harlan. Katrina is the granddaughter of Lyle Knudsen, Harlan. Seth’s grandparents are Darwin and LaVila Tessier, Yankton, SD.    The couple will exchange marriage vows on January 14 at the First Baptist Church in Harlan.

Urban renewal amendment okayed

    COUNTY – Shelby County has approved an amendment to its urban renewal plan, which will allow the county to recoup costs through tax increment financing for specific bridge replacements and/or improvements.    The county’s board of supervisors unanimously approved the amendment, along with an ordinance providing for the division of taxes levied on property in the urban renewal plan.

Small business job creation incentive approved
