ST. LOUIS, MO -- Mike and Donna Schmidt of Harlan announce the engagement of their daughter, Chantel to Blake Connor both of Swansea, IL. Blake is the son of Dean and Bonnie Leveling, Swansea.    The couple plans to marry on June 13 in a small outdoor private ceremony at Blake’s parents’ home. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chantel and Blake have postponed the original wedding ceremony and reception.
 

    ALEXANDRIA, MN -- Former Shelby County residents Ruben and Evelyn (Roenfeld) Jensen of Alexandria will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on June 11.    Their family is planning a card shower in their honor.     HARLAN -- Dave and Diana Greve of Harlan announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna, to Sean Boeke both of Coon Rapids. Sean is the son of Lee and Vicki Boeke, Coon Rapids.    The couple will exchange marriage vows on September 5 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan. The couple had originally planned to wed on June 6 but with the COVID-19 situation the wedding has been postponed until September.    
 

    AVOCA -- Leo and LaVonne Bargenquast of Avoca will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary on May 29. HARLAN -- Shirley (Dreager) Knudtson of Harlan celebrated her 94th birthday on May 16. The couple had originally planned to wed on June 27, 2020 but with the COVID-19 situation the wedding has been postponed until 2021.    Julie is the daughter of Alan Suntken, Denison; and Cynthia Suntken, Moberly, MO.
