Wolves sweep Bob Clark Relays in Audubon
AUDUBON — It was a dominant night for IKM-Manning track and field as both the boys and girls teams captured team titles at the Bob Clark Relays in Audubon.

The Wolves put together a balanced performance across sprints, distance, field events, and relays to secure the team title, with several top-three finishes pacing the effort.
IKM-Manning ran well in the sprints as Olivia Linde and Caylie Rasmussen finished second and third in the 100-meter dash with times of 13.00 and 13.09.
Linde later played a key role in the team’s biggest highlight of the night.
In the 200-meter dash, Oriah Meiners placed second in 28.69, while Kieryn Vetter added a fourth-place finish.
The Wolves continued their strong showing in the 400, where Addisyn Bandow took second (1:03.37) and Annabelle Blum placed third (1:04.42).
Blum also added a third-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, while Katelyn Bandow placed fifth.
Bandow contributed again in the distance events, finishing fourth in the 800-meter run.
Catherine Conner and Samantha Doyel added points in the 3000-meter run with sixth- and seventh-place finishes.
In the field events, Blum placed third in the long jump, while Anna Stangl added a sixth-place finish. Ella Sanford cleared 4-08 to take third in the high jump, and Keagan Eischeid placed sixth.
McKenna Benton led the throwers with a fifth-place finish in the shot put, while Kendra Arp contributed in both throwing events.
The highlight of the meet came in the shuttle hurdle relay, where the team of Linde, Meiners, Stangl, and Blum delivered a record-set-ting performance.
The quartet won the event in 1:10.13, setting a new school re-cord.
The 4x200 relay team placed third, while the 4x800 relay team of K. Beckendorf, Katelyn Bandow, Kendra Arp, and Brooklyn Riesberg finished second.
The sprint medley and distance medley relays added additional points to cap a strong night.
Boys Recap
The IKM-Manning boys matched the girls with a team title of their own, using strong sprint performances and standout relay efforts to lead the way.
Davis Rasmussen and Zach Solberg led the sprint group in the 100-meter dash, placing fifth and sixth with times of 11.80 and 11.85. Ashton Ahrenholtz added a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash (23.74), while Luke Doyel placed sixth.
In the 400-meter dash, Ben Ramsey finished fifth, and the middle-distance group added key points as Isaac Blankman placed sixth in the 800-meter run.
Hunter Julin added a sixth-place finish in the 1600.
The distance events proved to be a strength for the Wolves, led by Akeo Maynard, who placed third in the 3200-meter run, while Gauge Julin finished fifth.
In the field events, Jace Star-man turned in a strong night, placing fifth in both the discus and shot put.
Xaviore Diaz added a fourth-place finish in the high jump.
The Wolves were especially dominant in the relays. The 4x200 relay team of Rasmussen, Diaz, Tyson Smith, and Solberg captured first place with a time of 1:33.94, while the 4x100 relay team placed second.
IKM-Manning also picked up a win in the 4x800 relay, as Ramsey, Blankman, Diaz, and Smith combined for a first-place finish in 8:38.64.
The IKM-Manning boys and girls returned to the track on Thursday night for the Gonzales/Parrish Invitational at AC/GC High School in Guthrie Center.
