Larry Engel, 76

    AVOCA -- Larry Allen Engel, 76, Avoca, died December 4.
    Engel is survived by s his wife Cheryl, his daughter Sheila (Ron) Zornes, his son Doug (Julie) Engel all of Avoca, IA. 5 Grandchildren – Stephanie (Neil) Poldberg, Dean Zornes, Dylan Zornes, Tayler (Josh) Engel, Dustin (Trenna) Engel. 6 great-grandkids. His sisters Jackie (Dwayne) Larsen; Kristi (Kent) Beebe; brother in laws Ronnie (Kathy) Schutzenhofer, Bob Schutzenhofer, David Schutzenhofer, and Alex (Donna) Schutzenhofer; sister-in-law Tina Venturo, many special nieces and nephews and many great friends.
    A celebration of life will be held Saturday, December 18, 1-4 p.m., at Fred’s Bar in Avoca.
