    WALNUT -- Howard Beaman, Jr., 88, Walnut, died December 9 at Myrtue Medical Center.
    Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan with burial in the Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia.  Visitation is Tuesday, Dec. 14 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Beaman is survived by sons Daniel (Penny) Beaman of Brayton and Joe (Lori) Beaman of Atlantic; daughter Susan (Mike) Erickson of Sioux City; sister Darlyne (Bill) Mullin of Council Bluffs; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
