Carol Young, 84

    AVOCA -- Carol Francis Young, 84, Avoca, died April 21 at Avoca Specialty Care.    Services were held Monday, April 26 at 11 a.m. at Shelby United Lutheran Church in Shelby with burial in the Graceland Cemetery at Avoca.    Young is survived by sons Phil Hobus of Avoca, Roger (Penny) Hobus of Avoca, Brian (Alina) Young of St. Louis, MO, Larry (Carmen) Young of Kissimmee, FL, and Ronald (Teresa) Young of Monroe; daughters Sharyn (Phil) Zimmerman of Earling and Colleen (Ron) Taylor of Montezuma; sisters Bonnie Willett of Avoca, Norma Herrell of Orang, CA, Shirley Thies of Avoca, and Marjorie Kobs of Walnut; sister-in-law Jane Russmann of Avoca; 18 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca was in charge of arrangements.
